I'm posting, not to share this news, but to reflect on myself. Usually I send a message to all my friends on XBL to tell them about limited-period free stuff. This time, I heard about Xbox and it's penance to gamers who experienced a slowdown of service late in December and their promise of a free Arcade game. I posted at bungie.net about the gratuity of this game, but I didn't tell my friends.
This comes after the holiday season when so many friends wrote to wish me a Merry Christmas or Happy New Year. Usually I'm the one to send such messages. I loved getting these, and I saw why I sent them. It's great to receive well-wishing. It's great to receive news of something free that would normally cost your well-earned money.
I have until Sunday to spread the word. Let's hope no one misses out. Happy 2008!
